Love the food. Hate the shipping.
Perfect transition to new food and the dog likes it (and we are happier with the healthier food), but the process to get our first order was ridiculous. Sundays uses FedEx SmartPost, which is one of the worst shipping programs in the country since it takes longer, plus there is not a guaranteed date of when we will receive it. FedEx took 12 days to get our first order to us and it's not because Sundays was busy. I tracked the shipping and the dog food made 11 stops along the way over a 12-day period. I understand they don't want to spend a ton on shipping but there has got to be a better way to get us our product. The second order was a little better, but still took almost a week for us to get it. Because of the timing, we had to revert back to the old crappy dog food for 2 days before we could resume with the new food again, something we hated to do. For maximum freshness, Sundays tells us to use the food within 8 weeks, but imagine losing 2 of those 8 weeks because the food is traveling across the country on the back of a turtle. There are so many shipping options available (including many good ones from FedEx, if you want to keep the same company), so I hope you will work on that. Sorry to be whining, but you wanted to know my feelings on the experience. Like I said, the food is great. Just work on the shipping. Thank you.
