Sundays Dog Food Ingredients

Dog food ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, as is required by the FDA. That means, the first ingredient is what is used the most in the recipe. In Sundays’ human-grade dog food you’ll either see All-Natural Turkey, Chicken or Beef first.

Beef is a great source of protein and certain vitamins and minerals, like B vitamins and iron. Like many of our ingredients, it's sourced from a local family farm in the Midwest.
Beef Heart
Beef heart is an organ meat that is high in protein and rich in many vitamins and minerals, especially ever-important B-Complex vitamins.
Beef Liver
Beef liver is another organ meat that is rich in many nutrients, including vitamin A, vitamin B12, riboflavin and copper. It is also highly flavorful, a taste that dogs love.
Beef Bone
Finely ground beef bone is a wonderful natural source of bioavailable calcium and phosphorous, which, in turn, helps your pup's bones and teeth stay strong!
Quinoa is a superfood that's been exploding in popularity for good reason. It's a pseudo-cereal that's packed with fiber, amino acids, cancer-fighting antioxidants, and loads of vital vitamins and minerals.
Pumpkin is a superfood and digestive aid for dogs that helps keep their tummies (and poops) healthy. Pumpkin is a great source of fiber, as well as vitamin A, vitamin C, riboflavin, and more.
Wild Fish Oil
A combination of wild caught, Non-GMO sardines, herring, anchovy and mackerel from Iceland.
Zucchini is a great vegetable and slow carb for dogs. It's an excellent source of potassium, vitamin C, and magnesium.
Kale has become a poster child for healthy foods, because this leafy green is so rich in vitamins K, C, and A, plus many others.
Flax is a great source of Omega-6 and Omega-3 Fatty acids, which help your dogs coat stay nice and shiny among other benefits!
Sunflower Oil
Sunflower Oil is a great source of healthy fats, particularly those in a special format called ALA, which dogs need to thrive.
Sea Salt
A pinch of salt helps your dog's blood maintain proper sodium levels.
Kelp is another superfood that's extremely rich in antioxidants and many vitamins and minerals, but especially calcium.
Parsley is a leafy green vegetable that's packed with vitamin K, vitamin C, and iron. It's also used as a spice so it adds a nice dimension of flavor too.
Dried Chicory Root
Dried Chicory Root actually serves as a "Pre-Biotic", which means it offers food to the healthy bacteria in your gut, which helps digest food more easily.
Blueberries are high in cancer-fighting antioxidants, and provide a sweet flavor for dogs (just like for humans). Also high in vitamins C and K.
Natural Preservative
This is the weirdest-sounding ingredient, and it's technically called "Mixed Tocopherols" but it's just Vitamin E distilled from vegetables, which helps preserve the freshly air-dried meat.
Selenium Yeast
Selenium Yeast is a highly absordable form of natural, organic selenium, which is an essential mineral for dogs that has also been shown to help prevent cancer in humans.
Carrots are a great source of several vitamins and minerals including beta-carotene (which gives them their distinctive orange color), biotin, and vitamin K.
As they say, "An Apple a day, keeps the vet away :)" A great source of vitamin C and fiber
Tomatoes are loaded with vitamins and minerals. They provide everything from vitamins A, B6, C, and K to potassium, manganese and phosphorous.
Shiitake Mushrooms
Shiitakes are a great source of fiber, B vitamins, and minerals. They are particularly high in Vitamin B5 and Copper.
Your parents always told you to eat your broccoli for good reason, it's a great source of B and E vitamins, fiber, and a long list of other vitamins and minerals.
This flagship citrus fruit is famously high in Vitamin C, but it's also a great source of folate, thiamine and even fiber.
Cranberries are rich in B vitamins thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, and B6, as well as vitamins C and E.
Spinach is rich in B vitamins. If it's good enough for Popeye :)
Beets are a veritable super food that not only offer fiber, folate and vitamin C, but contain nitrates and special pigments that can help lower blood pressure, at least in humans!
Tart Cherries
Cherries are a tasty source of vitamin A and vitamin C.
Strawberries are a rich source of vitamin C and antioxidants.
