These are general guidelines, not one-size-fits-all rules. Every dog is different, so serving amounts can vary based on age, activity level, and body condition. Once you sign up, we'll use the information you provide to recommend how much Sundays for Dogs to serve your dog each day.
Please note that unlike fresh or frozen food, there's no need to be precise to the ounce with Sundays. Our recipes are forgiving, flexible, and easy to adjust.
Don’t Just Take Our Word for It.
We ran an independent taste test of Sundays Chicken Recipe vs. a leading kibble brand. Dogs chose Sundays 39-0. 39 dogs. 0 rejections. If your dog has turned their nose up at everything else, this is worth trying.
Max has been on Beef for eight months. His coat is shinier, he's leaner, and he actually gets excited at mealtime now which never happened with his old kibble.

I was skeptical about air-dried but the ingredient list sold me. Beef, beef heart, pumpkin. I can read every single thing in it. That matters to me.

Cooper (Golden Retriever, 2 years)
Our vet noticed the difference before we even mentioned we switched. Better coat, better weight, better energy. She asked what we changed.

Vet-founded. Not just vet‑approved.
“I created Sundays because I was frustrated seeing dogs fed food I would never recommend as a vet. Every recipe starts with a question I ask myself: would I feed this to my own dog? The answer has to be yes before it goes in the bag.”

Questions About Beef?
Is this recipe complete and balanced?
Yes. All four Sundays recipes are formulated to be complete and balanced according to AAFCO nutritional standards for all life stages, including growth of large size dogs (70 lbs. or more as an adult).
How is air-dried different from kibble or raw?
Air-drying uses gentle, low heat over time to remove moisture while preserving natural nutrients and flavor. Unlike kibble, there's no high-heat extrusion that degrades nutrition. Unlike raw or freeze-dried raw, our air-drying process includes a kill step that eliminates pathogens so there's no food safety risk and no refrigeration required.
Can I mix recipes?
Absolutely. Many Sundays families rotate between recipes or mix two together. There's no nutritional reason not to. All four recipes are complete and balanced on their own.
How long does it stay fresh?
Before opening: approximately 12 months. After opening: at least 6-8 weeks. No refrigeration needed.
Is beef right for a dog with a sensitive stomach?
Beef is a moderate-fat protein that most dogs digest well. If your dog has a known beef sensitivity or allergy, our Turkey recipe may be a better fit. Turkey is a novel protein that tends to be gentler on sensitive digestive systems. Not sure? Take the quiz and we'll help you decide.
