Food-Inspired Halloween Costumes for Dogs

They say “You are what you eat”, so it seems pretty appropriate to dress up your dog as their favorite snack. All of these food-inspired looks aren’t quite dog-friendly to eat, but can still be iconic dog costumes for Halloween.

This cute bowl of Ramen noodles is a rescue Poodle Mix named Koda. Look closely and you’ll see Koda’s costume is no traditional bowl of noodles. His pet parent included fake peas, carrots, corn, meatballs, seaweed, pork belly, chicken, dumplings, narutomaki, and a big boiled egg. Koda even has garnishings of faux green onions and cilantro.

A Golden Retriever topped with golden graham crackers – and we thought s’mores couldn’t get any better. Neptune the S’more comes with a life-size chocolate bar, graham cracker box, giant marshmallows, and all the fireplace fixings.

Rigatoni the Whitehound really lived up to his name with this costume. This little cook wears a Barilla t-shirt, rigatoni necklace, and chef’s hat in place of red tomato sauce. In case the look isn’t mouth-watering enough, there’s a bowl of cooked pasta and sauce cans on Rigatoni’s left.

Dog parents can join the spooky fun by wearing matching costumes with their pups. Kiki the King Charles Cavalier Spaniel dresses as a bumblebee while her mom, Sofia, dons a honey jar costume.

Perhaps the sweetest of all dog Halloween costumes, Willow dresses as a blue cloud of cotton candy. The Mini Aussiedoodle is one of our most fashionable Instagram followers. Check out @aussome_willow on Instagram to see Willow and her sibling, Rorschach, share photos of their outfits of the day.

Movies & Pop Culture Dog Halloween Costumes

Drive straight into Barbieland with these dog Halloween costumes by French Bulldogs, Delilah and Dallas. The best part of this look isn’t just the pink convertible, but the Barbie and Ken blonde wigs atop the Frenchies’ heads.

Who you gonna call? Fans of the Ghostbusters franchise will adore this look from Scout the Australian Cattle Dog. Hopefully, Slimer the Ghost won’t eat all the Sundays' chicken recipe out of Scout’s dog bowl.

The Swifties are going to love this next entry. Lilo the Corgi, also known as Aircorg, is dressed as Taylor Swift with a blonde wig, red dress, and friendship bracelets to complete the look. Her human baby brother, Koa, is even repping a Kansas City Chiefs onesie to look like Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

This cunning Queen of Hearts is actually a rescue dog named Babe. Pups dressed in Alice in Wonderland Halloween costumes for dogs should keep an eye out for Babe. She may decide it’s “off with their heads” if you cross her path!

Animal-Themed Dog Costumes for Halloween

We thought dogs couldn’t get any cuter, but pups dressed as other animals definitely proved us wrong. Keep reading to see a cute cow, spooky spider, and more animal-themed dog Halloween costumes.

Even the biggest bug haters in the world can agree this is one cute spider. Under his eight legs, Milo is a smooth-haired chocolate and tan Mini Dachshund. His pet parent posted this picture with the punny caption “Halloweenie is right around the corner”.

Otis and Rosie may just be the cutest crustaceans around. In their lobster Halloween costumes for dogs, the Goldendoodles are ready to go trick-or-treating in their home state of Maine. They can even stay home and enjoy a night in with the Sundays’ turkey dog food box by their paws.

This moo-tiful soul is a Dachshund named Joe. Ironically, he’s posing in a cow costume next to a bag of Sundays’ USDA beef dog food. Don’t worry Joe – this recipe is made of 90% real beef and 0% Dachshunds.
